Dreamy Commissions
I LOVE a landscape, of course I do. It’s my thing, but there is nothing I love more than capturing a special landscape for someone else.
I’ve recently had the pleasure of working on a few landscape commissions, from the Isles, the Welsh coast and bonnie Scotland. These have honestly been some of my favourtie paintings to work on and some of my best work (If I do say so myself)
Capturing landscape on such a small scale is like looking through a little window to a day or place that holds so many memories, it’s a small reminder of a place but also of all the feelings it holds too.
Many of us have that one spot that you wish you could teleport back to, its maybe a spot you visited at a certain time in your life, with certain people or just a beautiful view you could stare at all day. I love that I am able to capture this for people and hope I do it justice.
For me there are so many spots I wish I could go to again, if I ever become superhuman and can teleport I’ll be the happiest woman. But until them I will continue to paint them.
