Abbeyhill Colonies 2025
What a wonderful weekend, words can’t explain how lovely this was to be a part of!
It was so fun to be exhibiting in the 20th anniversary of the Abbeyhill Colonies, where artists and creatives open up their houses and gardens to showcase a whole array of wonderful work! I had the pleasure of being in the garden of my friends Tess and Rory, alongside Rachael and Alison who I luckily get to share a studio with too. Aka ‘The Squeege Girls’
It was so busy, the streets were full, the gardens too and we got to hang out in the sunshine…. and the rain all weekend! Is there anything better than cups of coffee in the garden with your favourite people and getting to share our art at the same time? I don’t think so.
We’ve had a reshuffle in the studio over the last couple of months and now Alison and I get to share our space with Rachael too! Our work all follows our love of nature and being outside from the sea to the hills to the sky. We’ve got all areas covered. What once was a very narrow, crammed space is now open, light and a much nicer space to create in.
If you fancy a nose around, come and visit us at the Open Studios- 29/30th November at Abbeymount Techbase.
