May was Wild

I sat down one evening and after a month of packing prints most evenings after work, I decided to total up how many prints I sent out because it felt like a lot. But I had no idea how much A LOT was.

In may, I sold over 600 prints!! 600 Prints, I couldn’t quite believe it. Almost all of them headed off to wonderful stockists: Òr, Isle of Skye. Red Door Gallery, Edinburgh and Curiouser, Edinburgh. I am so grateful to be able to stock work in shops I truly love and appreciate them supporting me as I grow and evolve. It’s really lovely knowing that so many people connect with my work because each piece holds personal memories of my trips and experiences in Scotland. I like how people can use my work to remind them of their own travels and experiences in Scotland too, how my paintings can hold so many different memories from people across the world.

It’s been over a year since I had my first wholesale order and I am so pleased that Òr saw through my very basic, unaesthetic little brochure (created on word :/) and placed an order. After they did this I had the confidence and drive to create something that better showcases my work and myself.

I set myself a goal at the start of the year to really give my all to growing and channeling my energy into my art and I think I can say it’s paying off!
